I've seen numerous color-phased birds in the past, but this is the first time I've had any on this particular farm. The bird in the foreground is brownish-white, and the hen in the far background is mostly white.

Great pic! I love those off white color phased birds. If I could ever get a gobbler in that color I would do a full body mount.

I would love to shoot this one but so would the other 5000 people have driving by looking at him lately.

Cool!

I've seen a white-splotched one once, a reddish one, and a bluish one (looked like a pigeon).

The crazy thing is that all 3 of those, across a span of about 5 years, were seen on one 80-acre property in Hardeman County. They were all hens.

The "blue" one I was actually able to draw a bow on, but couldn't get a clear shot inside of my comfortable range. Really cool to see in the wild, though.
