Remington 1187 SPT, one of my hunting buddies has one and we are having a hard time finding out what choke and shell combo works best. Can any of you help?
i shoot the 1187 as well. best results for me is stock rem extra full. tried several chokes fromm jellyheads to pattern masters. killed at 60+ yds. shoot the hevi shot 5s 3 1/2.
I would start with what the manufacturer recommends for the weapon. This info should be available with the manual for the gun or on the manufacturer's website...
