This past season my bow would not stay sighted in...found this out a week or so into the season by skipping an arrow off the back of the biggest buck I've ever drew on. It got so bad that i went and shot it before every trip into the woods i understand practicing but that was a pain. Bow was paper tuned with feildpoints, shot 6" high with my montecs, sighted it in and it seemed to jump around from there the rest of the year. I know the first advice would be grip and anchor point...i have payed special attention to these and feel my form is correct. I was a sucker for speed when i got it, this is my second bow went from an old high country to my Destroyer 340 big jump. I am so frustrated i feel like changing my whole setup.

Bowtech destroyer 340 69lbs 29" draw 333fps arrow 356 grain
Victory Vforce HV 27.5" 6.9 grains per 2" blazer vanes
Luminock GT(I'm for sure going to a regular nock)
100 grain G5 Montec
I have to add more weight in the back when i lose the luminok

Was thinking arrow wrap, 3" fusion vanes helical...I'm having to try to get as much weight were i can find it because i have about 15 of these victory arrows still in the box already cut to length. I was also thinking of going to a 125 point to get my weight up. How bad would a fob of 14% be?

you need to get the f.p. and b.h at the same p.o.i. with that bein said .what is arrow weight /spine? sounds light compared to d.w. .has the bow been timed .and what rest is on the bow .how far are you from Fairview .if you want p.m. me your'e # i will give you a call and try to help .but need more info!

Arrow weight is 356 grains w/300 spine QAD ULTRA REST...victory gave me a really good discount like 50% maybe more so i went for the best one that suited what i wanted to do. I had the string replaced before season with winners choice at a bowtech dealer and he was very helpful tuning it in...twisting the string several times and moving and tuning my rest and timing the cams spending a good hour working on it, I'm don't have the skill or knowledge to work on it myself but he was doing things right in line with what i have seen and I was shooting bullet holes when i left.
i use the hindsight eclipse /no peep just a d-loop and kisser button on my string love the sight but going to change that too

Like i said was in love with speed and set my arrows up that way from the start. Now i just want something a little more user friendly i guess. Really cant complain about the lethality of it killed three this year and one last year/complete pass threw and arrow sticking in the ground a few inches.

did he time it on a draw board? VERY important imo... and sounds like you just need to b.h tune to get the same poi as field points.and maby if you went to a little heavier arrow round 400 gr they might fly better your'e right on the edge and would still be shootin around 310fps.try moving your'e rest in very small increments to get the b.h and f.p. to come together .most shops don't have draw boards ...not knocking you're shop just tryin to help .

Or your,e rest down, make very small adjust at a time .I would try the rest first.have u tried any other fixed blades to compare?

I think ur foc would be ok but then u would need new b.h. I think it just needs some fine tuning.I found that the qad likes Noc high bout 1/8 most the time....

Are you SURE your arrow weighs 356 grains?

6.9 GPI X 27.5 + 100 grn (tip) + Victory insert 12 grn + Lumenok 25 grn + Blazers 18 grn = 344 grns.

If that be the case, your shooting too light of an arrow for 70 lbs and could be a big part in inconsistent shooting AND damage to the bow. If you get away from Lumenoks, you lose about 12-13 grains with the standard Victory nock....which makes you even further from 5 grains per pound. Might wanna check into that first. Those HV series are very very thin walled anyway and I imagine any of the slightest thing would send them all over the target. If I were you I would do one of two things.

1. Back your bow down in poundage and try it there.

2. List your arrows F/S on one of the archery classifieds and get some heavier shafts. The regular VForce shafts would be great if you want to stick with Victory. I happen to have some uncut in 300 spine that are too stiff for my setup now....would part ways with them cheap.

The arrows are very light with that said it could be a # of things or one...yes you definitly need to tune your'e broadheads VERY important but there is alot of factors.imo that light of an arrow out of a [hard cam ]bow that is not timed correctly is gonna be all over the place ,It doesn't sound like it was b.h. tuned at all .I'm anal about tuning on a draw board to time and sync cams and get d.l. correct.I dont see how you can sync the cams without it...then I check for rest clearance.walk back tune then B.H. tune, and have had good results .I dont mess with paper tuning alot walk back has worked good for starts, the b.h. tune.I shoot a mr6 with 29" mods but it measures 29 1/2...but it shoots same poi with f.p.,slick tricks ,muzzies ,and montecs.I would be think about what C.T. said ,again its just my opinion, and I'm still learnin!!

I appreciate the advice... I jumped into this after a trip to Afhgan with plenty of funds and went all in. My buddy got a monster setup at 80 lbs and we both where tryin to set the land speed record it seemed and after two years of this i'm ready for a change. My arrows weigh 356 for sure I know the math comes up short and it puzzled me to but thats what they scale out at. I think I'm going to try to bring them up w/ 7" wraps, 3" fletchings, 125g points, and a detailed tuning a try it out.

If the arrows are over 350 grn then as others have said, there is A LOT that it could be. I wouldn't even want to attempt at just picking one without seeing everything for myself.

Draw boards are critical for binary cams, hybrid cams, etc. The bad part is....most people don't know what one is....much less own one. I know of several archery shops around local and none of them have one and all sell bows with those cam systems. I was going to build one but am going to get the Bow A Constrictor press add on instead.

Then there's all the other variables. Just remember....most shops if you're not buddies with the techs....will just set you up close enough to send your arrow in the general direction of the target. lol

Just advice from another former Hindsight user...get rid of it! I found mine would move ALL over the place. Switched to a G5 meta peep and all of my accuracy issues were solved (well, the ones that weren't my fault :)) After not taking a shot because the meta peep was slightly twisted, I had a tube peep put in and LOVE it. It's always lined up correctly, the FOV is great and with it served in, it never moves!
