Called and paid for it this morning and ordered the accessories this afternoon. All of it will be here by the end of the week. This is the first new bow that I have ever bought, normally Im too cheap but these bows are just too sweet and I broke down and did it. My first ever brand new bow.

Strother SR-71 Blacked out 29/70
Ripcord Code red
Extreme RT 900 sight
Limbsaver stabilizer
G5 Meta peep

ahh I'm glad you bought me something.. your such a sweetheart!

all joking aside man, that is gonna be a sick bow! Can't wait to see it

Congrats on the new bow. I've been hinting around to the wife that I would like to have a SR-71. Even told her that I would sell my Captain before ordering. Hope the dealer was correct about the delivery. The best I've heard on shipping is 2 weeks and that was ordering from Cracker's in St. Joe, MO. He and Kevin Strother are pretty tight. Most other orders have been 4-8 weeks.

The bow was on hand at the shop, shipping out tomorrow. I didnt order it, just got lucky and found the right shop. Crackers makes the strings for them, talked to him this morning and he has a Vanquish on hand to sell.

Thanks. Now I know how big a yard sale to have to help raise the funds. But I will have one.

The SR-71 has landed! Im waiting on my accessories to get here so all I can comment on is the draw cycle and overall fit and finish. The bow looks incredible, the macnine work on everything is flawless, and the strings look and feel awesome. The strings are made by Mr. Carter, "Crackers" for those who are on archery talk, and I can see why people go on and on about his strings.
The draw cycle blows me away. There is no way that you would think that this bow IBO's at 353+ fps by drawing it. It is a very smooth pull and just comes back into the wall, which is just that a WALL. The bow is sitting at 71.9 lbs and it draws easier and smoother than my old Hoyt Vectrix and HCA Iron Mace, hands down no contest. I have drawn back a z7 and shot the reezen and I honestly think its smoother than those two also, definetly smoother than the Monster. Ill post up more when my stuff gets here and I get to shoot it a little bit.
