I decided that I was going to get myself a new bow for christmas so I went shopping. I have shot Mathews for 10 years now and wanted to try something else!

1. Rytera alien-x too loud and did not like the balance, fast
2. Hoyt Maxxis way too heavy quieter than the Rytera
3. Bowtech Admiral not a bad bow but real hard to draw
4. Mathews DXT one shot and sold

I really wanted to give the other manufacturers a chance and the last thing I looked at was another Mathews but what a sweet bow.

Thru my gear on went to the range and was smacking arrows at 40 yards after 10 shots.

Kinds of long but thought I would share! All the bows were real close in price with the Mathews being on sale here at 699.00

This weekend we are heading out supposed to be 25 for a high so the deer should be moving 25 is not too bad for around here!

Mathews, booooo.... lol, just messing with you.

I have nothing against the bow(I almost bought one) but the attitude Mathews groupies get. There is a Mathews place a couple of miles from here. It is like you commited a crime if you go in there with a non Mathews brand. It cracks me up.

Congrats on a fine bow.

I agree there can be some Mathews snobs kind of like Harley snobs LOL!! I just wanted the bow that I was comfortable with not what the marketers wanted me to buy!
