I hate buying a new bow this close to the season (I plan an early season hunt in Kentucky) but yesterday while shooting I noticed a few hairline cracks in the limb of my 2001 model bow. At first I thought they were just superficial, but the more I shot the more cracks I noticed. I didn't want to have it blow up on me, so I retired it.

Rather than waiting for the warranty work to be finished, with little chance of getting it back in time, I used it as an excuse to get a new bow.

I had to keep it to a tight $300-$400 range, and I got a good deal on a 2008 PSE Stinger, with the new Inner Cam. ($300 complete with new Wisker Biscuit, peep sight, and release loop installed.)

Man, it shoots much quicker, smoother, and quieter than my old one. I have to adjust to the new bow a bit, as I swithed peep sight styles, but I think it will do just fine.

Have any of you purchased this model?

I don't know much about this model , but I have owned quite a few PSE bows and they have all been good bows .
All that matters is that it shoots good in your hands . :)

Never owned a PSE but have known plenty of people who have. They didn't seem to do much complaining!

From what you said in your post about "smoother, quicker, quieter", I'd say you've found yourself a shooter! ;)

Now go kill something!
