New Calls

I usually order 3 mouth calls every spring. I picked up my two favs in Halloran's TKO and Hook's Executioner 2. I picked up Gooserbat's Bacon after reading several positive reviews. I'll probably get Hook's GC3 at the convention.

I also ordered a Primos' Alumislate for nostalgic purposes. Before I got into custom pot calls, this was my go-to call for many years. It was $12.99 shipped to my door.

Looks like your set. I used Hook's mouth calls for years due to my small/narrow palate, and they always seemed to get the job done.

Killed my first bird with an alumislate.
I loaned it to a young hunter wanting to turkey hunt. He lost it supposedly and I never got it back along with my Ol Yeller. I try not to think about it much because it's upsetting. Kids these days. Lesson learned I guess.

Nice ones. I've tried to put back a few extra dollars for the show. I want a few mouth calls - Halloran and Hooks. I've never used a Gooserbat but I may grab one if I can remember. All of mine got left in my vest last year and they're dried out, full of spit, and aren't worth a fart now.

I wouldn't mind a new pot call, but I don't have anything in mind.

Never heard of that pot call before. My go to is a Primos Power Crystal, I like the sound of it and it's loud. I don't usually carry a pot call though. Just once in a while.

I also had a Gooserbat Bacon but I'm not sure where it is now.

It should I really like mine. To bad you couldn't make the convention. You could have taken one home with you that day. It may be tight getting it here by season. Hopefully he'll get it to you in time.
