New Custom Slate Call

So my buddy has got some property down in Cordele, GA and times are tough down there with the Cooper Tire plant closing as most folks got laid off. One fella that got laid off has been making custom calls on the side and now that he is completely out of work he is desperately trying to get any money he can so he was selling custom slate calls for $35. I picked up this spotted magnolia pot with a one piece magnolia striker and it sounds pretty good. If anything, it gives me something to play with while sitting in the office!

Nice looking call. I like how he incorporated the sapwood into the striker, it gives it some character. Nice looking wood, definately call worthy to carry in you vest this spring.

We got 6 more from him to sell all for 35 apiece. I will try and take pics this weekend and post all of them with descriptions on here. I would be happy to ship any up ya'lls way. It goes to a good cause and some great calls.
