New Die, Problem

This is once fired Lapua brass 308
Brand new Redding sizing die with neck bushing

The outside 2 are sized Redding, the middle is RCBS.

Would the marks the Redding die is making bother you?

Not sure I see the marks you are talking about, looks like light scuffing maybe? Probably wouldn't bother me.

I assumed you lubed them. How do they feel when you run them in? Are they chattering?

Felt smooth

I set the die up like normal, ram all the way up. Then run the die down til they touch.

I've had standard dies leave that ring.

That's called a donut. Look online in accurate shooter or YouTube to see how to deal with it. It will cause neck tension issues.make sure the bushing is facing correctly. The bevel side goes on first.

See if the die needs polished right. I've had a line on my brass but not sure I've had one that bad. You can also give Redding a call and see what they say.

That looks normal, the case is being squeezed back into shape, it is going to leave some marks. if you tumble your brass and get them cleaner the lines will be less noticeable.
