To all my missed internet campfire friends,

I remember being told about this website from an older gentleman, I won't say his name just so i won't embarrass norm. I remember getting on this talk forum and getting some advice that actually worked for me as a juvenile hunter, and for that I thank you TNDEER.

OkAY enough with the reminiscing,

I have recently encountered a piece of property in Laurens, SC that I can't seem to strike a bird to save my life.
The area has pine thickets with long meandering, yet seemingly straight (20=200 yds. vis.) trails, or i would even call them Ranger trails...? with fields of old planted corn in the openings that range from 1/4 acre to 1 acre, openings that had corn in them last fall. 500acres

I hunted all day saturday from daylight to dusk. Sunday daylight to about 11.
Not one gobble. heard one lonely hen saturday and called her in when the rain stopped and the sun came out.

Anynody got any suggestions? I'm going back next weekend.
