NEW POLL 9/11

Georgia knocked back 7 spots

Tennessee moved up 2 spots

looks good to me glad they moved Clemson outside top 4 they didn't deserve to be there after the way they have played first two weeks.

1 Bama vs 19 ole miss.

3 Ohio st. Vs 14 Oklahoma.

12 MSU vs. 18 Noter Dame.

2 FSU Vs. 10 Louisville.

Will shake things up pretty good next week.

AP Top 14 teams:

ACC: 3 teams
American: 1 team
Big Ten+4: 5 teams
Big 12-2: 2 teams
Pac-12: 2 teams
SEC: 1 team

cute

here are the number of ranked teams each league has played

1. SEC (6). Record 4-2
2. ACC (4). Record 1-3
3. Big 12 (4) Record 1-3
4. BIG (2). Record 1-1
5. Pac (2). Record 0-2

Despite this, the SEC's overall non-league record is 16-6, which is basically one game from being the best winning percentage. BIG is 21-6 and the ACC is 17-6. PAC is 15-7. And the Big 12 is 11-8 (pathetic).

NOTE: I realize a lot of you hate the SEC, and there are a handful of SEC teams I don't pull for either. But these facts do shed some light on the "SEC is no longer the best league" fallacy.

As the AP poll clearly shows, this week they are definitely not the best league.

Let's take a look at what the coaches think about the SEC right now....

Coaches Poll Top 12:

ACC: 3 teams
American: 1 team
Big Ten+4: 5 teams
Big 12-2: 0 teams
Pac-12: 2 teams
SEC: 1 team

Look on the bright side, at least you beat the Big 12!

SEC has three of the top 4 winning streaks in the country — Ala, 14; Tennessee, 8; Georgia, 7. UT longest streak since '99
