New Release increased draw length?

After losing my 10 year old caliper release in the swamps i bought tru fire's Hardcore release....i extended it out as far as it would go but couldnt get my original anchor....so i changed my draw from 29" to 30" to get my anchor to my comfortable spot...picked up some FPS but the release had my arrows hitting left so i had to adjust sights....IS THIS NORMAL.....i finally am back to driving tacks

Perfectly normal. I shoot a 28" draw with some releases and 29" with others. How do you like the hard core release. My son is wanting one.

Its a fast release....when i say fast i mean crisp release that feels effortless....love the foldback feature and the Best is the buckle strap system can have it on and off with no sound in 7 seconds or less....i prefer the leather over the cotton straps....the only thing i didnt like was that my arrows were shooting left....but i picked up 8 FPS because i draw 30 inches now
