New rod.. first impression

I ordered a rod from David (aka Sniper) and I am extremely pleased. He worked with me through the whole process from rod blank to eyes down to what color I wanted the threads. The rod showed up not too long ago and it looks better than I could have expected. Very good looking rod and professional work. I'm going to put it to work on the water tomorrow and check back in.

I never get too cocky when it comes to catching fish because they humble me quite frequently but I will tell you that I will try my best.

After spending a day on the water with this rod all I can say is you can't ask any more from a rod. I slung an A rig on it all day and got hung up several times straightening hooks out and never had an issue. The sensitivity is great. I could feel fish "washing" the rig a couple of times.
