Wanting to upgrade from the sight that came on my bow it is just not bright enough. Looking at Toxonics,Trophy Ridge, and Extreme. Any advice on these sights?
Looking at the Alpha v5 from trophy ridge, this sight looks really good! Just don't know about the vertical inline pins? anybody use them? How do you like them?

And the RT1000 from extreme it also looks like a good sight!

Any advice?? Thanks

I have the G5s and I love them!! they are pricey. You will come to hear alot, that archers on here are very fond of 1 pin!!! Which they have a good point, I have found myself easily lost in pins!!!!! but I wouldnt trade them for the world

You mentioned several good sights, but don't rule out Spot Hogg. I have the Hogg-it and Hunter Hogg-it, both with 5 pin wraps and they are very good sights.

No offense , but I think they are overpriced , considering you have to purchase the wraps too .

None taken. You can buy the sight with the wrap though. You get what you pay for and I think SH sights are a great value for the money. I tried others and ended up with SH and my only regret was not bypassing other sights and getting an SH first.

You know I'm picky and once I determine I like something I'm done :D

Are they bright??
I have looked at them before but they didnt look like they would pull in much light.

Any suggestions on single pins?
I have not really considered them but thought I might research a few.

Are they quick to adjust?
Like say I had it locked at 25yd so I can shoot to 35 without much holdover, and a deer stepped out at 40-45yds? How quick could you adjust the sight?
Thanks

I liked my Trophy Ridge Flatliner but I broke some of the fiberoptics.
I currently have an Impact Archery Cosmic single pin. It gathers light very well and is easily adjusted.

I have used several , and love them . I have shot out to 35 yards with it locked down at 25 yards by holding a little high . I see no need to shoot farther than that . It can be moved in a few seconds if needed . I have never had to adjust it for a shot though.
I have a couple of Impact Cosmic single pin sights ,along with a Cobra single pin adjustable sights .
I keep them locked down between 20-25 yards , depending on the thickness of the cover and anticipated shot distance .
HHA makes some very good single pin sights .

I shoot the Trophy ridge titan v-drive. I like it. It has the longest bar for an single pin adjustable with out having to by an expensive target sight. I got mine for like $135 new.

Hey man, I got a Spot Hogg "Real Deal" 5 pin sight I will put you in for cheap. It has .029 pins, and the large pin guard. The pic only shows 3 pins because I took the other two off...don't need them when the bow shoots flat. But all 5 will come with the sight. I have it marked with green marker to mark the windage/elevation settings but that wont be on there if you want it. I'll take $75 for the sight. That's a good deal for it considering they are $129 new.
