Do you guys have a go-to for ordering new recurve strings? I'd like to outfit my small collection of recurves with new and correct-length strings. The Hunger Games has awakened interest in a couple of my youth group kids, and I'm gonna ride the wave and trade some archery lessons for Scripture memorization ;)

Was disappointed that Academy carried basically nothing I needed.

If any string will do ya specialty arms in LaVergne has or had them its been a few years since i been there

Thanks fellers.
Just looking for the basics. Haven't paid a lot of attention to these bows in a while, especially not since the move last year, and my gear is a bit scattered. I may even try to pick up one of my heavier recurves and see just how bad I am with it.

What I have collected so far has been used bows that were priced so that I couldn't pass them up, knowing that I'd be shooting with some teens at some point or another. And one PSE takedown that was an impulse buy off eBay :)

Hopefully I can find my little archery tackle box and at least get the new strings set up with a good nocking point.

the archery den off goose creek bypass might do it. I saw some recurves there while I visited, I bet they would have what you need. It's across from the ag expo center on a side road off goose creek. Only saying this cause I think that is close to where you live, should be just down the road.

What ever you do dont put a fast flight string on any bow that isnt built for it, it'll destroy the limbs in a hurry.

Dont ask me how I know this.
