I have just moved to Tennessee and would like to turkey hunt this year. I will be hunting in/around Bear Hollow WMA. I have never hunted mountain birds. Does anyone have advice on where (what type of geograpy - top of mountain or bottom?) I should start scouting? Any help is appreciated.

I live only a few miles from Bear Hollow. I hunted them about 3 times last year and that's about all I wanted. You can bet on them roosting in the bottoms under any and all circumstances and they're just plain hard to hunt. I was after them from daylight to dark a couple of times and never heard the first gobble.

Oh, you better have a good comfy pair of boots cause you're going to do some pretty extensive walking.. lol

On a more positive note, I've heard a lot of people have success up there, and there's some nice scenery
