Just bought an Excalibur Vortex. Shoots up to 330fps. Bought some of the Excalibur Firebolts. It's topped with the Excalibur Twilight.
1. Shoot what grain?
2. What new string?
3. What broadheads?
4. Sighting in advice?
5. String suppressor?
Any help will be appreciated. I'm just ignorant to crossbows. Always been a compound guy.

I've had success in accuracy and effectiveness with the Excalibur fixed blade broad heads. I'm pretty sure they are 150 grain. The string depressors do work but they add a lot of weight to the rig. I doubt a deer can hear anything from the bow before the bolt hits him but I have them on mine. Quivers are a matter of preference but I like the one that is attached. A scope is must. I prefer their scope with distance reticle that you set for your xbow. You will need some rail lube and an extra string. You have a great xbow. Enjoy!

I use 125 grain fixed broadhead for mine, it is the slick trick I think with 4 blades. As stated above, scope is a must, quiver I carry in my back pack, rail and string lube just like compound and I need to get an extra string myself. lol and welcome to the brother hood of Excalibur, the first and last crossbow you will ever need.

make sure you have the pull rope to help pull it back even, it should have came with one. good luck and have fun, and anything 40 yards and nearer should never hear it coming anyway.
