How's it goin gents? New to the site and just got out of the military and relocated to the middle TN area. Growing up we always hunted Edgar Evans but I am hoping to find something a little closer to me now. Would consider goin in on a lease if need be. I am located near the Williamson Co and Columbia area. Don't mind a drive, just want to explore my options and see if anyone had any advice or could lead me in the right direction. If this breaks any rules in the forum or is in the wrong place, I apologize. Thanks fellas.

There is a WMA near to you with one of the highest densities of eastern wild turkey in the US. Just be sure to wear your kevlar vest. Social media and forums has made it dangerous, thus the reason I'm throwing it out there cause I no longer care.

There's some good public land around you like th88 said be careful it will be crowded.

You're in a great area for turkey, but like stated above, it's well known among turkey hunters. Maury co has the highest harvest numbers every spring, and it is often talked about online. Thankfully they had another good hatch last year, just be prepared to have people park behind your truck and cut off the bird you are working. There are some other good WMAs nearby, but they see the same amount of pressure as well. Kind of a right place right time sort of deal. Good luck
