First time poster, and new to turkey hunting. Been looking at tva land to go hunting. However one of the lands I was looking at looks pretty small and near a public park and homes. Also worth noting that it's near a river and there are some fields across the street but they're private. Anyone have any experience whether or not turkey stay in small Pieces of woods near developed areas?

Yes, they will. I have seen at least 10 birds in peoples yards just this spring. Just make sure the TVA land is not restricted use.
