My family and I moved to Memphis last month, and I'm way behind on finding a place to stick a doe or two. Figured I'd get ahead of things and start looking at turkeys. Luckily I've got ducks figured out across the river already.
Back in TX, spring subleases were pretty common, is that something to keep an eye out for over here? I've looked into some public land, and it looks like there are birds to be had, but goodness it's nice to chase after a gobble knowing that you're the only hunter after him.
Any tips for finding a place? Was shelling out boocoo bucks to hunt near Dallas, and still driving over 2 hours, so I'm certainly willing to pay whatever it's worth here.
