new turkey vest with a "kickstand"

there is nothing better then a vest you can wear and dont need a tree to lean up against! not to mention the comfort level of you back and butt and the fact you can rest your head on the top of the vest instead of a tree.

I love the ability to site where i am standing if need be regardless of where i am.
 
I got the Lil Bighorn and they are great when you don't have a good tree to rest on. But on the other hand if you in a spot to be right up against a tree them they can be in the way.

exactly! i have the same vest and cannot even imagine hunting without one these days. However i am in the process of trying to build a vest with the same type of frame as the lil bighorn except instead of a straight back frame i am trying to bend the frame into a V shape (like the teeth of a tree stand) to allow you to get closer to a tree. I think i have the frame aspect down now, just have to figure out how i want to mount it into or on a vest.
 
looks nice, but i dont think it will work for me.. usually in the spring the ground is super soft. I can see that thing just trying to bury itself
 
yeah that would be the only thing that worried me about it. With having chair like legs rather then just a flat backing like the little big horn does, in sandy soil or muddy soft ground it may begin to sink into it. Although with some slight modifications you could fix that problem pretty quickly
