newest hobby

I was in the middle of trying to determine how much grip to use with my trigger hand,,that last bull I shortened my sling about 1/2 inch and used about the same hold with my right hand as I would off a rest,,I think I was pulling the stock back into my shoulder to hard,,I let all the weight rest on the sling and left arm and just tried to hold my shoulder tight without pushing and just lightly held the grip and squeezed off and follow through as shooting off a rest,,

it was getting dark and I quit right there,,I am gonna shoot 50 rounds tomorrow using the same hold as I did on bull 3 and 4,,

I have shot this rifle a lot standing off hand,,with a post insert I can wear an 18 inch gong out at 300 yards,,but my first goal is to just keep them in the black,,standing,,we will see,,

My hats off to you, that's tough shooting, making 1 good shot is hard in those positions, making multiple shots is very hard work that every thing you do effects the outcome. I don't have it in me to be able to do it these days, bench shooting is more about equipment & trigger technique , small bore position shooting is all about body control plus all the bench stuff thrown in

X2. I have a hard time even breathing right in those positions, much less getting all of my other body parts to synch up and work right.

And golfers think that they have to worry about mechanics

Looks good to me
Reminds me of the days at the range snapping in...and the shooting coach constantly saying...Sight alignment, sight picture, slow steady squeeze...
I loved it all, miss the smell of gun powder and the range .....

shot a couple 190`s so far but not a 190 shooter yet,,but in 1,000 rounds I think I can get in the 194-196 range,,
