Not a scientific sampling, but I'm pretty confident these are probably the top 10 (I'm very confident in the top 5). Very interesting comparison at the end playing off the Uncle Saban thread.
Most draft picks by school 2012-2017 NFL Drafts:
1-Alabama - 49
2- LSU - 40
3- Florida State - 39
T4- Florida - 37
T4- Ohio State - 37
5- Clemson - 33
6- Oklahoma - 32
7- Georgia - 28
T8- Michigan - 25
T8- Southern Cal - 25
T9- Texas - 22
T9- Texas A&M - 22
T10- Michigan State - 21
T10- Oregon - 21
As mentioned on the other thread, Tennessee has had 14 drafted in this time span (none drafted in the 2015 and 2016 drafts). Ole Miss has had only 12 drafted during that span. While Jones has without a doubt improved the program, is Ole Miss just an outlier or do they prove my hypothesis wrong?
Also, realistically speaking, there are only four teams on that list that have had a realistic shot at winning it all over the past five seasons and (maybe five next season). Fans of the other schools have a lot to be angry about. Vol fans have a lot to be optimistic about.
