Nice. Never seen a deer without a deer tail. Anyone know a reason?
Always herd the tail was a defensive help, (a target for anything that wants to eat them) maybe this guy proves that wrong.

Could be but that would prove this guys tough to get. Be fun to try. Bet this guy would be real hard to spot from a stand. Look at that belly, he's been around. He could've sacrificed his tail to a lesser hunter already. Picked up on that high cam so he might be used to looking up.

I know a guy who shot off a deers tail with a 30-30 once.. Finally hit the kill zone after 2-3 more shots..lol..

Could have been caught by someone when it was small, and they docked its tail to tell the buck from others.

I know someone who did that on a big buck that frequented their yard. They actually tranq'ed it though.
