Nice buck in the snow

We hunted this buck all year. My friend missed him during gun season and I had one shot opportunity at him late in season but it was a running shot across a field and I didn't want to risk a poor shot. We have had several pics of him but I thought this one was worth sharing. Hopefully we will get another chance at him next season.

Really nice to know he survived.
So many "assumed" misses involve an intestinal nick, deer eventually dies.
Looks like this one ran the gauntlet, and made it.

Hope you get him this fall,
and the story will be so much better with all this history.
And his rack will likely be even more massive
