Pruitt quoted as saying this team is different as night and day, thats great to hear, also in his 20 or so years coaching plus the 3 champ teams, he said he was most excited of this team than any he has coached, good to hear and hope it all pans out

Well lets be honest. I have never heard ANY coach come out and say my team sucks donkey balls and its going to be another losing season. Deal with it sports fans.

So there is that.

Keep thinking that way. We will see huge improvements this year. And with that being said I call it like I see it. When we suck I'm the first to point it out.

I believe you won't be seeing them quit this year like we have seen in the recent past.

Very Well may be true. Im just saying that you generally don't hear coaches saying the opposite.

Wanna talk about a stupid saying. IMO this tops them all... From the very own Tua at SEC Media Days

Junior QB Tua Tagovailoa on the national championship loss:

"I'm kind of glad that the loss happened, you can't learn as much from a win."

#SECMediaDays

The offensive line has undergone a physical transformation, though. Pruitt says the Vols had two 300-plus pound offensive linemen this time last year. He says that number has jumped to 15.

Things like this is why I think Pruitt has a chance to turn the vols around some time in the near future. Not long ago we had a staff that went an entire recruiting cycle without even getting a single linemen.

I'm not saying his gonna go 10-2 and win the east in the next year, or anything crazy, but does anyone honestly believe one of the vols last 3 coaches was better then Pruitt as a coach.. I dont think it's even close.

That's the best thing I have seen reported on our football team yet! At lease Pruitt knows and understands what it takes

SEC Football Power Rankings

https://www.knoxnews.com/story/sports/c ... 699285001/

Here are my power rankings:

Alabama: Quarterback Tua Tagovailoa throwing to the best corps of wide receivers in the country should prove too much for whatever comes the Tide's way during the regular season. And don't discount the motivational value of the blowout loss to Clemson in the national championship game.

Georgia: With a powerful and deep offensive line, Jake Fromm should take fewer hits than any other quarterback in the SEC. All that blocking also should lead to running back D'Andre Swift's best season.

Tennessee: Quarterback Jarrett Guarantano should improve under new offensive coordinator Jim Chaney, and freshman tackles Wanya Morris and Darnell Wright should be welcome additions to a sub-par offensive line.
