"It meant a lot (seeing NFL players come back to campus to work out). Any time you can learn from guys that played a high level, it's always going to beneficial for your career. And also for the culture. It's good to see guys doing well. They started at Tennessee and then you see them in the NFL, then come back home and kind of share stories. It's aways beneficial.
"I will say this, though, (Ramon), I remember coming back — I was rookie of the year in 2008 (in the NFL) — in 2010 or something like that. And I tried to work out in the weight room and they told me I couldn't work out when the guys were in there. So, to me, that kind of took me aback. Then I was like you know what, forget it. I'm not going back to come back. So a lot of people are like Jerod, why don't you ever go back to the school? And like, that has stuck with me for years. Even when I was playing. Where they wouldn't let NFL players comeback and work out around the guys. I think that is a huge misstep by the organization."
