Anyone else's deer gone nocturnal this week with the moon and warm temps?

I haven't been able to hunt since Friday, but I adjusted a few cams Monday morning.

I have 1 pic of a deer during daylight this week.

Night time has been filled with small bucks and does.

But even on a non-pressured very isolated property, they aren't moving much during the day!

October lull. Happens every year. They're still on their feet in daylight but inside or only steps away from whatever heavy cover remains.

All spring and summer long they've had heavy cover everywhere and could move silently. Food at every step. And keep in mind their vision see blues and greens incredibly well, but yellows, oranges, and reds are like shades of gray. What's happening right now? Everything is turning yellow, orange, and red. Cover is disappearing fast. Nuts are falling like rain making noise everywhere. Deer can't take a step without sounding like a crash. Even the air has changed. It's not humid anymore and is full of woods decay, mildew, and molds. Every sense deer rely on for protection is being bombarded. Their world is changing rapidly and drastically. And they change their habits to adapt.

If you want to find them in daylight you've got to find what they're eating and put yourself between it and the nearest thick cover. They still have to eat. It won't be much distance. If there's enough food inside the cover they might not leave it at all. But they're still on their feet in daylight like always. It's just not happening where you're used to seeing it. Once leaves and nuts are all down they'll get back to normal. The urge to breed will force them out and about.

Haven't seen any of my camera data since last weekend, but as of that period, I've never seen so much daylight movement.

I was able to hunt Friday 13th, Sunday 15th, and Friday 20th, and saw plenty of movement during daylight.

Have just seen a drastic daylight slow down since. I obviously fully expect it to skyrocket around sunday evening lol.

According to my cams, we actually had a lot of morning activity last week after daylight, and had a good solid buck come through one morning a little after 9 am.
Everything is fixing to change come Monday
Yeah, this coming weather change could be great for cwd zone rifle opener on Monday.

Yeah not many mature deer in daylight for about the last weekish. Deer are moving right at daylight and dark, with a weird 845ish am movement on our places right now.

Haven't looked at cards in 10 days or so. Last time I checked them it was only a couple spindly racked bucks. One wide eight point but nothing special. I have determined that I'm up against corn feeders on neighboring properties, crap.
