yup and rubbing some oil into it to protect from the rain. Darn black shotguns rust too easily.

I spilled some Butch's Bore Shine on my double drawer filing cabinet once. It dribbled down the side to the carpet.

It ate the paint off the cabinet and melted the carpet fibers. I was actually kinda proud.
