After receiving a phone call and a few picture of the double my father and his friend were able to kill I was itching to get in the woods. So at 5pm I loaded up and hit the woods... After walking about 50 yards I spooked a birds strutting down an old logging road... Know that the rain was staring soon I knew I didn't have much time. As I continued down the ridge....hitting a call every 75 yards or so .... He fired up! And he was close..... One gobble then a double gobble I took a seat and within 5 minutes he came strutting.. Spit and drum... He was a super star... At 20 yards I let my 20ga eat! In all it took 45 minutes from the time I left the truck to get back. 19lbs 10in beard 1 1/4 spurs
