A family friend from Alabama just sent me these, all leather bound first editions signed by Tom. One of the better gifts I've ever received and even though I've read them all many times it's still cool to have these

You're right especially the new era of hunters. Lots of perspective about where some of us get our ideals in those pages.

When you buy your first call a copy of the tenth legion should be required reading before you're allowed to hunt.
 
Somebody knows you well!

I bought TTL in digital format, and put it on my phone. Hearing him read his words is great.

As a result of my online order, I got on an email chain where I would get an email from him of kind of like a newsletter for several months. I will say that I was surprised that he was enamored with reaping a few years ago.
 
Wow, awesome gift! Would be incredible to get a 1st edition one (esp of 10th legion).... wonder what those sell for?

It was required when I first started turkey hunting out of Clarksdale, Mississippi.
