I haven't bow hunted in 2 years due to a bum shoulder. I only bow hunted before my shoulder went so not being able to shoot a bow was a very low point for me. So today I was at Hulmes in Paris and bought a Barnett Raptor Pro STR. Seems to be a decent bow for the money. Got it sighted in in 6-7 shots and only shot it out to 30 yards so far but it's very accurate and fast. Not crazy about the scope but it's not bad. Probably just fine for wacking does. I can't wait!
Something I've noticed in 2 years being out of archery is the number of broadhead companies have exploded. I have around 2 dozen Rage heads that I was told I can use if I change the retention band. We'll see I guess.
