Took my 9 year old son to the NWTF for first time Saturday and it was packed. My good friend Jason Conrad is now with Woodhaven's ProStaff so I stopped by to chat with him a bit. While I'm talking turkey my son has walked in middle of the booth and has a box call in hand that he is trying to call with. I notice a man kneel down and start helping him with it and giving him pointers on the stroke and etc. That short lesson continues on for at least 15 minutes or more and then my son comes over to show me he can yelp with a box now and was he proud. The man was Mike Pentecost owner of Woodhaven and a legend in the industry in his own right. I was shocked with the fact that in this day and age of the almighty dollar that he took time with kid. Think that speaks volume from a company in the hunting industry and especially the owner. So with that quality and service I do believe we will run Woodhaven calls in our vest for some years to come. Now to get his first bird.

That is awesome. Three years ago, at my first NWTF convention, the Woodhaven booth was the first place that I stopped. A gentleman there asked if he could help me, told him I was just getting started and that literally, that booth was my first stop. He took the time to talk with me, showed me some calls. I really appreciated the time he took. Stopped there yesterday and spent some money with them. Seem to be good folks.

Very cool. There are still some good guys left within the industry. I got to sit down with Eddie Salter several years ago at the nwtf show. It was a great talk and we hit it off. Ended up with his cell number to do some turkey hunting.
