Now that Deer season is for the most part over with........who is thinking about the NWTF that is roughly 6 weeks away....and the fact that turkey season is approximately 90 days away here in TN? I have a new spot that I cant wait to try out.......ridge surrounded by hollers.....can't wait for youth turkey season!!!!

Not sure if I'll go to the convention this year or not.

I'm still trying to save up a few dollars to get a couple of guns fixed up the way I want them. I'm not sure I'll get to do everything I want to do to them. In the end, it doesn't matter. They'll still get the job done.

The bad thing about turkey season is that it coincides with warmer weather, which means I'm playing more golf than anything. I've got a 5 day golf trip lined up in March, and I have to tuck back some money for that. That means turkey hunting funds are limited. Then when I'm actually hunting, I'll be thinking "I wish I had that new stock" or "new sight" or whatever...

If I hit that Powerball this week I won't have to worry about it.

I will be there. Probably Saturday. I like to go and spend the entire day.

I'm going to go on Friday this year and get to David Halloran's booth before he gets low in stock and pick up a couple calls.
I'll go back on Saturday with family and sight see.

I feel dumb for asking this, but where is the convention at? Always here about it, but never hear a location.

Opryland hotel. If you've never been you need to go atleast once. It's not only for turkey hunters but for every kind of hunting. And you never know who you'll run into. Met and hunted with people from as far away as Idaho.

It is total sensory overload! The volume and totality of the calling is amazing.
Every type of hunting gear is present and all for sale.
Lots of celebrities working the booths.

You end up parking in their satellite lot and taking the bus in.

Remember, if you are military, entry is free.
