I haven't heard anything about them canceling yet. Do you know if that sign just showed up? I would guess it's been there awhile

just spoke directly to the wma officer.his name was shannon. the hunt cancelled signs are only there because they have not posted the dates. he said the hunt will definitely happen this year!!!!!!!

Good deal. I figured they would, I keep checking our ORNL website at work and everything has had 2022 dates. Only thing that hasn't been updated is the 2022 map. Should be a great hunt

Man... should be a GREAT hunt this year. Unpressured bucks x 2 years. Should be as close to a PI hunt as you can get in TN.

Good luck to those going, and kill some giants!

I am going on the archery hunt on 11/12-11/13. I made back up plans if they canceled so it wouldn't be a wasted trip. This is my first time going to oak ridge have hunted other government properties before and was wanting to know at what time do they allow you to walk in to hunt and how late after sunset do you have to be out.

My hunting group had 3 points a piece and we're drawn for the last couple of years. I don't know why but we were not drawn this year. Seems strange to have been drawn for the last couple of years and be canceled and then not drawn with the bonus points we have.

"access allowed one hour before sunrise to one hour after sunset and Hunting allowed 30 minutes before sunrise to 30 minutes after sunset"

If you are hunting Tower Shielding (TSF) it is under lock and key and will have a guard stationed there all day that will let you in and out. Other areas are pretty open, if there gated they usually have them open the day before. The actual entrances to ORNL plants will be guarded. They have areas inside the gates but that depends on what Zone permit you drew and you will have to enter only threw the east portal unless they change that rule. They will send you a colorful map, that map and google map will be your friend

Have the december gun hunt with a bonus buck. Excited is an understatement. Just hope my spot is like past years, just me there.

We are in the same boat. I was pretty shocked when we weren't drawn. Then, we see that several hunters with 0 bonus points are drawn and will be getting to hunt there this year. Its aggravating but Im sure we will get back in there next year.
