Did anyone get drawn for Oak Ridge this year? Dad and I have the hunt this weekend. Just curious how everyone did on the scout date? I found a few birds but that was 2 weeks ago. I hope their still around.
I work at the lab and have seen very few birds running around site than what we have seen in years past. You usually have to stop and let them cross the road while driving. Good luck to all
 
I've seen quite a few and heard some gobbling. Agree that I haven't seen as many as in the past either. They never will reopen the badged only area I want to hunt.

I have the last hunt. I didn't see the scout date when it showed successful, and my map arrived after the scout day. I am going to hunt off of hwy 95 close to the area I deer hunt.
 
Wondering how everyone did I had 2 gobblers going they flew down gobbled probably 20 more times working towards me and then just stopped might have had some hens intercept them or someone bumped them
 
was pretty quiet till around 930. had 2 different birds gobbling ,1 slowly getting closer and then someone drove in, slammed the truck door and immediately started calling. needless to say it was over
 
We were on birds both days but couldn't close the deal. Never heard a gobble either day until after day light. Had one 35 yards moving closer Saturday around 10:45. He was in some thick stuff so couldn't get a shot, as he was moving in a truck drove by and he ran off. Yesterday I got set up on one on roost, I called twice so he knew where I was, he pitched down and went the other way and never seen or heard him again. O well. next year I guess.
