I usually go to Sportsman Warehouse in Chattanooga to get my reloading supplie but when I went this last week the shelves were mainly empty. So I went to Gander mountain in Huntsville and I kinda had a stick shock. The prices are double of SW and Just walked out of the store and will have to purchase elsewhere, but not ffrom Gander Mountain.

Typical Gander Mountain prices.... personally I think it is terrible....

I would love for them to go out of business here in Knoxville.... I would also love to stand out front when they are holding a Cleance sale and hold a sign that says "good Riddance.... Can't say I am sorry to see you go"....

OK, I am not done with my weekly grip about Gander Mountain... :)

I order projectiles on-line...I purchase primers and powder locally to avoid the haz-mat fee. I buy factory ammo for use as practice on the trigger and the brass. With all the raw materials going up/staying high it is the best way for me to save money.

There are so few shops to get reloading supplies around here that I usually just order from MidSouth Shooter Supply or Midway USA. Haven't checked prices lately, though.

When I'm travelling in that area, I've also bought from Outdoor JUnction in Cookeville and Reloader's Bench in Mt. Joliet.

The shelves have been bare in Chattanooga for nearly two months. It literally looks like someone has robbed them of reloading supplies especially bullets and powder!

I took a cabelas sale add to gander and they price compared on a lyman digital scale and powder drop. He didnt want to, but when we asked him if we should come back or just keep ordering from cabelas he said ok.-- but normally I still shop cabelas or SW.
