Now we are going to make Ohio Bobcats world beaters???? They lost 56-54 to Texas State. Who is Texas State??? Texas State went 3-9 last season.

well it did take 3 overtimes tho :rotf: :rotf: :rotf:

I just hope they don't play ultra conservative like they did against App. St. And North Texas! Hit hard right out of the gate and let Dormady gets some quality snaps, not just handing the ball off.

Never said any of that. You spew words all you want, just dont try to put them in my mouth. Where did you get " world beaters " out of my post?

I think most would agree that your title seemed a little extreme.... :)

"Ohio Bobcats beat Kansas!"

My response was a question:

"Now we are going to make Ohio Bobcats world beaters????"

Not putting words in your mouth. Just asked a simple question.... Nothing to get excited about.... :poke: :rotf:

Why do u think they played ultra conservative against Appy St.??? Think they would have let it go into OT just to play conservative? I think they came out got punched in the mouth and it took 5 qtrs. to finally make Apy break.

uuuuggggghhhhh :bash: :bash: :bash:

i'm so confused :bash:

is appy state good or not????????

They ran less than 10 different offensive plays the whole game. Stupid in my opinion.

That's all they could run considering the OL couldn't stop App. State and UT's QB is limited in the passing game. UT is pretty much an option team that can throw a dink pass every once in awhile.

Tennessee's slow starts is going to bite them in the rear if they don't get it fixed ASAP!

This statement is true^^^^^ but the Kansas Jayhawks, are one of the worst teams in college football. I don't know that I would use that as a guage for how good or bad Ohio is. I do know if the Vols over look them they will lose.

Vols should roll. I say 52-7, but these MAC schools can be pesky.

Interesting coaching match-up tidbit. Ohio is coached by Frank Solich, former Nebraska head coach. Been there 13 years. I guess he likes Athens and the deer hunting opportunities being surrounded by the Wayne National Forest. Solich was a great Nebraska running back (first Nebraska player to appear on the cover of SI). Played under Devaney and long-time assistant to Tom Osbourne. Just didn't win national championships at Nebraska, so was fired like a UT coach (who did win one). Another tidbit - neither Nebraska nor Tennessee have won a conference championship since Solich and Fulmer (who also played for and was a long-time assistant at UT before becoming head coach) were fired.
