Last year we turned the sports forum off due to the fighting, name calling and basic acting like kids.
This year we are not going to do that and punish the innocent.
We have a nifty little warning thingy we got with the last upgrade of our software.
A moderator can "warn" someone and it logs it into a file where all the moderators can see it.
We are going to give everyone 2 "warnings" and the next time you act like a child your account will be deactivated.
That is the LAST thing any of us want but there are limits.
When every thread gets hijacked and turned into a peeing contest / name calling crap hole, it is time to change.
I don't spend alot of time in this forum because I don't have anywhere near the knowledge of the game as 99% of the people that post in here.
I do love to watch a good college football game but I don't change my schedule to watch every game I can.
I will always pull for TN and I will always pull against ND.
If Alabama or LSU are playing I will try my best to watch them too.
Other than that I really don't care.
This kinda jacks up the "you are a tn fan so that is why you blah blah blah" argument.
Anyway, seriously guys, be nice and some VERY light jabbing is to be expected but if you get a warning from a moderator you need to REALLY look at what you are posting and not only your single posts but look back objectively at your TREND of posts and you may very well see the issue? Maybe?
If you get a second warning, well honestly it will be your last chance.
Hope nobody gets deactivated but my fear is it will be the same ole, but maybe not.
