I absolutely cannot spend much on one because I know how my luck runs.
Someone will either steal it or destroy it, I know this.

What is the best budget minded camera I can get ?

I just want to see what is running around where I hunt.

That's what I put out today.
It hasn't been used in a couple years,,, and don't work. :(

Might have to go that route.

Primos Truth Cam 35... I have several and they do a great job. Especially on Mineral Sites. I saw some at Walmart today for 79.99. Great battery life and good customer service if you need it.

I use the $50 Tasco's.
Cheap, decent pics.
Between thieves and bears I'm not
Gonna spend any more than that.

BassPro had them for $50 not too long ago. Check with them.

I would go with the primos truth cam 35. I have 7 of them out right now. I know their are a lot out there that are better but all of mine are put out on public land. I have had great luck with them so far but if someone steals them then I'm not out that much. The last four I got came from Natchez shooter supply. They had them for 49.99 if you bought 2 or more but I had to have a friend in ark. order them for me because if in tenn u can't order from them I don't think. Anyways they take good enough pics for me and the battery life is excellent on mine anyways. Just my 2 cents. Good luck

x2, have mine over salt lick, it's the CR blackout version so it makes no light at night and the trigger is sensitive, I had to set it on low sensitivity to reduce false triggers. Gets great daytime pics, and half decent night pics, and the best part is the battery life.

I wouldn't spend over $100 if you feel it will likely be stolen.

I can speak good for Tasco, Bushnell, and Primos.. my WGI is a coin flip as to how it'll work.

I've gone this route as well, at least for the last one I purchased. ;) Trying it out now. And you KNOW I've got problems with sorry low down scum suckin' thieves.
