And still no BANG! Heard at least 4 if not 5 different birds.

Chased these two with their hen most of the morning.

She and I ended up having two fussing feuds. She actually came into range, but the gobblers did not. She then said enough is enough and walked down the hill, and they followed. I saw them both at 65 yards.

The video got messed up in the upload, and is very crappy, but you can hear it!

Great video and don't take offense as your calling sounds perfectly fine. However, calling at birds that close can lead to all sorts of problems sealing the deal imo. I know you didn't ask for advice, so please don't get angry. In my experience it's better to make them come find you rather than continually calling revealing where you should be

Not angry at all. I had gone silent several times, but I cut those out when editing.. They just would not leave her so I was trying to tick her off. I probably should have gone silent when she came in view, but when she went left of me, I didn't think she was going to come any closer.

If one of them had followed her same path, they would have died!

I also should have mentioned that I had been on these birds for almost 5 hours. I had to push the envelope as I needed to get to work.

Sure wish that had worked out. They were fired up!Stick with them. I know of a few that died this morning.

They must have worn themselves out yesterday. Very little gobbling this morning.

But I did hear the hen yelping with them again, but even she was more subdued than yesterday. I have never encountered such a loud mouth as yesterday. She yelped going to them on the limb, and yelped throughout the morning, even five hours later, and much have that was almost non-stop.

Oh well, I will be back in there Sunday. I did have company this morning, but they left before I did, so hopefully, they won't get on them tomorrow.

Sounded like you were sitting on a bag of potato chips.

You aren't joking. I equated it to walking on corn flakes trying to move around these birds. It doesn't help that I'm a big guy too :D !

Really hoping for a rain today before I go back in there tomorrow!
