I have been working on getting my old Hoyt Easton Provantage Tracer '88 back into hunting shape. I'm shooting this speed demon with fingers and getting about 200fps at about 60lbs with the present set-up. I killed my first several bow deer with this bow and 2216's @ 73lbs with 125gr Thunderheads. It was and is an accurate bow and will most certainly get the job done again. What blows my mind is that I/we killed all the animals back then without a range finder. Anybody else got an old Hoyt gathering dust?

I think I still have 1986 hoyt gamegetter 2 at my dads house if he hasn't got rid of it, I know I have a 1994 hoyt Provantage with fastflight limbs, I quit using it three years ago still have it for a back up bow.

I used to have a 1990 Hoyt ProForce Extreme . I killed plenty of deer with it back in the early 90's . I currently own a Hoyt Katera XL .
