I'm not sure if I miss the fishing or my full head of hair more. Disclaimer... these were taken back when it was still common practice to remove tarpon from the water... I cringe when I look back at doing this.

45lb permit caught on a crab pattern that I fought well into the night on 12 Lb tippet.

Permit are some of the best eating fish that swim although I haven't killed one since before these pictures were taken which is probably 15 years ago. Same thing with the snook.

I'd love to catch a tarpon someday. Seems like a lot of fun.
