Ole Jimbo ..........

A new wrinkle in getting around the transfer rule of having to sit out a year. So Fisher and coaches worked them hard and cussed them <shocked> :D ?

It is legal to give players cash who host recruits, but there's a limit. He kept no receipts and pocketed the rest, so there is no proof oh how much he was given. Just he said, she said. He'll get his release and this will go away. But, this will happen more and more. You're school could be next!

Marchiol's case presents a new possibility — that athletes could, in applying for a waiver, include allegations of improprieties within their former athletic program.

Wouldn't that make him ineligible for accepting impermissible benefits? Did he just tell on himself?

That's a very good question!

Here's the real article, and not the SDS click bait story.

You may be right, Wayne. Wouldn't that be something :D ?

Marchiol said the money went toward drinks and snacks, but he had no record of the cash or purchases made with it and kept whatever wasn't spent. He said he did not give any of it to the recruits.
