I'm pretty old fashioned... shoot a 7 year old bow, old TM style rest and have just simply put my hours in at the range before season. Never had a problem, probably never would...
But this year getting ready for elk season, I had a friend convince me to change to the QAD ultra rest HD, and I just installed it on my bow last night. Just got done from shooting, and group sizes were HALVED instantly!!! (3" groups at 35 yards to 1.5" groups). I haven't shot it much, but my initial impression is that it's simply incredible. Not only have I shaved around 4 oz weight, It's almost like the bow shoots itself now... it seems like I almost don't even have to focus on followthru... as soon as I touch the trigger on the release, the arrow just wants to go straight to the bullseye. Can't wait to see what it'll do at 55 and 65 yards tomorrow.
