One eye or 2

I'm subscriber to Eastman's Bowhunting, and they had an interesting article (jan-feb, 2011) about training yourself to shoot with both eyes open, not just one.

I've tried it and while I do trust I can do it, I want a lot more time to shoot this way. It's pretty amazing how well you can see your target. I'm going to try and transition to shooting this way full time.

Anyway, do any of your guys shoot this way, or have your tried? It's something you should try.

I shoot both eyes open but occasionally have to squint my left eye if I feel my right eye is losing dominance.

When I use my bow with sights, I use one eye. But if I shoot without sights I can shoot with them both open.

always shot with 2 eyes with any weapon. i focus more with my right when shooting a bow but regardless of the weapon i aim with both open.

Ditto. I've tried to shoot a left handed bow, but couldn't get it down.

Most of the time I shoot with both eyes open, but I do close one eye to verify the pin is correct, then I focus on the target, then sight alignment, sight picture, and a slow steady squeeze!!!!!!!!!!!!
