Tomorrow will be a sad day. Thank God I get to spend at least one more day in the woods watching everything come alive.

Amen! It was another glorious morning in God's creation.

I was greeted to no less than 30 gobbles this morning from at least 5 different birds. But it looks like I'm gonna keep a tag but that's ok. WAs within 70 yds of two strutters right off of the limb. Had they followed the hen that came from behind me, went to within 50 yds of them then circled back by me I would have had a shot.

I have about 30 minutes left before have to make the 1:20 drive to get back in time for worship service.

It was a great morning, had a coon growl at me for 20 mins and a coyote come thru before fly down. The hens must have seen me set up because they stayed in the tree 30 mins after the gobbler flew down, he was within 60 yards of me spitting and drumming but never came on my side of the rise. He went away from me gobbling after the hens went the other way
