one pin shooting

I am thinking of getting a crossbow.
want to shoot with a scope but just use one "pin".
how far can you shoot your crossbow using one pin or line on a scope?

Depends on how fast yer Model is wid yer chosen arrows. Maybe 1-40yds if'en you knowed yer hold over n unders

I use the same "pin" for 20 and 30yds.
Starts dropping after that.

30 yards will be about as far as you could go with 1 pin and not have to worry about being way too high at <30 yards.

No matter what type of archery equipment you choose, range to target ALWAYS has to be considered.

im good out to 25 with my Horton with my first dot.. Im changing mine scope out to a multi reticle and hope to start shooting at 40 to 50 yards with 3 lines now.

The only thing I ever shot with a crossbow was the coyote I called up during bow season.

He got to "about" 30 yards and I put the 3 dot scope on him.
All 3 dots were on him so I just pulled the trigger.
