If one is proficient with a trumpet and mouth, there is no need to carry anything else.Rockhound":t5wci442 said:.... it's about all I used last year, that and a mouth call.

Nice looking call Rock, who turned it?
it does have a different cadence and one that the gobblers seem to love. It's mostly a matter of preference but there is something about it. I've never used a trumpet, only wing bones, but basically the same thing.Rockhound":1m0hr73p said:Andy S.":1m0hr73p said:If one is proficient with a trumpet and mouth, there is no need to carry anything else.Rockhound":1m0hr73p said:.... it's about all I used last year, that and a mouth call.

I decided before last season I wanted to get proficient with a call that very few used, in my thinking it would carry a different cadence(sp?) Than anything else. It seems to have worked it lead to the death of a few birds last year
Trumpets typically run $100-$300, depending on the call maker, time of year, and supply and demand.Hunt2Live":39xynca1 said:I bet it had a nice price tag on it too!
