Opener bird

Left my house in Atoka at 12:10am. Arrived at gate at public at 2:30am to make sure I got my spot. After fighting people all morning, finally closed the dea at 9:34am. Around 8.5 beard, 1.25 spurs, and 22lbs. Came in gobbling his head off. The Franchi with Boss #9 hammered him at 25yrds.

Oh I forgot the best part. I had a bird gobbling on the roost and kept hearing a guy blow a crow call. I mean like a lot... Well all of a sudden this guy appears out of nowhere in the overgrown sapling field. He is full camo hauling ass!! Had a sack of decoys under one arm, a blind under the other, gun strapped around his back, and literally blowing the crow call as loud and fast as he could.. no rhythm or cadence. Just as fast as he could Kaw Kaw it... I was laughing like crazy!! He was doing it so much he couldn't even hear me whistling at him until he was dang near on top of me. When he finally realized it, he stopped, waved, and took out on a dead sprint the other way!!
